JOCELYN H. CHILVERS Landscape & Garden Design
Thanks - I'm *so* glad they renamed it from giving honor to Custer. very contemplative scenes - I've only been 2 times, but I remember it, long before I understood it. Still don't understand it.
I was very impressed by the changes (improvements, IMHO) that have been made over the years as new information and attitudes have been accounted for!
A side note: The Native Americans don't call it Little Bighorn but rather The Battle at Greasy Grass. Seeing all that grass makes some sense!
You are absolutely correct, Tibby. The Indians called the adjacent Little Bighorn river the Greasy Grass as well.
