Talk about a tough bit of flower power...it is perfectly fine in pavement cracks in the Rio Grande Valley towns in NM, north to south. I think their blooms are long gone down here, but I'll have to look at some I know that are near me.
Yes, I LOVE seeing these blooming away in the craziest places. "Alley" flowers, for sure.
