So happy to see a healthy butterly weed. I had one that did not care for my clay soil. A little more would die off every year. I gave it to a friend with better draining soil this spring and so far it looks much happier. The bloom is so vibrant, it is like a beacon in the garden. I miss it.

It is a beacon! The buds have a bit of a rosy cast, which adds even more dimension to the color.
