Friday Afternoon Garden Club

It’s FAC time in The Art Garden! Grab your favorite beverage and pull up a chair. You didn’t really want to work this afternoon anyway, did you? Leave a comment to join the garden party.

Today’s topic:

Is water a vital design component in a landscape? Which has more impact, water that is still (reflective), water that is moving, or a water garden environment with plants and fish? What do you have in your garden?

I feel that water is a very important element of a garden. The sound is soothing and creates its own feeling in the space. The size and type is up to the user of the space, depending on their personality type and what kind of feeling they want from their space.

I have a water fountain in my back yard and love sitting outside listening to it!

Well said, Michelle!

I also think the level of maintenance one is willing to commit to is an important consideration.
