My second try at posting a comment...
I love taking classes at our local Desert Botanical Garden. They are always excellent, and the surroundings can't be beat! I just got the new quarerly catalog of classes. This is a good reminder for me to start making decisions for spring classes!

Aiyana, I agree with you---it's always a treat to take a new class. Our public gardens, especially those that offer more formal educational opportunities are real community treasures.

It's good that classes are still being offered for those who want to learn a thing or two about landscaping. Formal education is really needed for something like landscaping which not only requires time, effort, budget but art as well.
